Best E-Bike for the Money.
In all my research, the Rayos remains the best electric bike you can buy for the money. It has a rugged full suspension frame, a reliable quality Shimano derailer, great handling and it's an extremely comfortable ride. I personally use my Rayos electric bike all the time and I still love it! (Especially going up hills with one hand, in a low gear and not coming close to breaking a sweat.) It's practical and fun.

Made in Taiwan. Not China. It Matters.
Rayos is made by Ideation in Taiwan. To be fair, there is beginning to be better quality control coming out of China, however 99% of the e-bikes made there are really of inferior quality and not at all worth the time and money. Ideation makes a good quality efficient brushless motor that produces good torque (on demand power) and drains less from the batteries.

Independent Human and Electric Drive Systems
The Rayos has completely independent human and electric drives. This is one of my favorite things about the bike. You essentially have 3 options. You can pedal and use the bike like a conventional bicycle. (if you ever ran out of battery power, you could easily pedal home) You can pedal assist while using electric power. This will almost double your range and give you some exercise to boot. The 8 pedal speeds make it easy to find the right combination of human power and electric assistance. Lastly, you can be totally lazy and just scoot along as if you were riding an electric scooter using only the thumb throttle.

Standard Bike Parts
The Rayos bike is an 8-speed mountain bike that uses standard bike parts. Seats, handlebars, brakes and other non-electric parts can be found at bike shops and even some department stores. All electric parts are always stocked and can be purchased at A2B Scooters. The Rayos comes complete with batteries and with charger.

The assembly the Rayos bike is not difficult to do at all. However, if for whatever reasons your fear of assembling the bike yourself is getting in the way, we will be happy to pay you for the professional assembly of your Rayos at your local bike shop.
